Q1: There are a lot of BMX sites online, e.g. forums like
www.pedalbmx.com, so why should I use this site?
A1: As far as I know, no similar databases existed until the launch of www.bmx-unity.com.
I think it's a lot easier and more practical to search for riders here as to search all the forums in the web.
Q2: Who is supposed to join the database?
A2: The database is open to all BMX freestyle riders who live on
planet earth. No matter if you live in America, Europe, Asia, Japan, Australia,
Africa,..., don't hesitate and participate in the community!
Q3: I moved some time ago and want to change my address. What to do?
A3: Click the link 'Update' in the main menu and follow the instructions.
To perform any changes of your profile, you need your username and password that was sent
to you by mail. If you lost your password, don't mind and read the next answer.
Q4: I've lost my password and want to change or delete my profile.
Am I stuck in the database forever?
A4: No problem, just go here and fill out the lower form. You'll
receive your username and password by mail again.
Q5: My data will not be given to any third person, advertiser, ...?
A5: Yes, I'm the only one with direct access to the database and I
guarantee keeping it safe.
Q6: I have problems with the picture upload-procedure.
A6: At first, you can only upload one pic, because this site is not meant to
be a gallery. If you selected a picture in the join-form, but nevertheless, no-pic-submitted
was assigned: Make sure your pic doesn't exceed the limit of 70 Kilobyte and is a JPG. If
you still encounter problems, send me a mail. Ex-BUG: Picture Upload with Internet Explorer fixed.
Q7: Who made this site?
A7: I'm a german student who lives in France at the
moment. I had the idea for bmx-unity some time ago and here in Bordeaux I decided to realize it. This site is absolutely non-profit, I earn NO money with it. The only one who profits is the one who joines and looks for others riders.
